MESOX was founded with a vision to transform the medicine formulation landscape, which is currently both slow and wasteful.
After spending several years in academia developing technological solutions for pharma, it was evident that many drugs are abandoned or shelved due to bioavailability issues despite significant R&D investment.
This, combined with a drive to change the status quo of pharmaceutical development, led us to spin off MESOX from Aston University Birmingham in 2021.
Since then, MESOX has made solid progress in tackling bioavailability and formulation challenges, resulting in a 505(b)(2) therapeutics pipeline that addresses significant clinical and market needs
